July 2012 School of Architecture Orientation

As per usual, on the twenty-something of a month, in this case, 28th of June, the orientation for new students gearing up for their tertiary education in a new place took place in the core of UCSI's School of Architecture, also commonly known as the North Wing campus.

Keep on scrolling for more of what happened that day.

Seniors guiding some confused newcomer to our site of orientation

Waiting for the big guys to come in while being entertain by our AIS video...

Followed by more waiting...
And preparing...

And chatting...
Then a few words from Sharmain, our event director, on AIS

And finally, we have our associate dean, Mr. Zani...
... along with his head of Interior Architecture and Architectural Technology.

So what happened when they come in was to talk about the students expectations and what was expected of the students in conjunction with the first steps to take in enrolling themselves as architectural students in UCSI.

Here we have a horde of students surrounding a lecturer for guidance, I think...

... and some less crowded help on the side line from a lecturer, no less.

The end of the orientation approached as students completed their course selection and slowly start to disperse to go home and get prepared for classes commencing on the following Monday.

An after orientation discussion on how AIS can further help in senior-junior interaction...

... and last but not least, a token of appreciation to those willing to attend the orientation.

As always, good luck and all the best!
